Tammy Frank , V.T.
Tammy graduated from the Veterinary Technician Program at Centralia College in 1984 and has worked at the Dundas Animal Hospital ever since. She lives on a farm in Caledonia with her 2 dogs and husband Henry. She has a special interest in dog obedience and operates "Start Me Up" dog obedience training and Instant Replay Flyball team.
Pets: Tammy has two red and white border collies Jag and Quest.
Hobbies & Interests: Tammy has a passion for Flyball - Instant Replay Flyball Team. She also teaches dog obedience classes and really enjoys camping.

Valerie Ranger , V.T.
Valerie grew up on a farm near Tavistock. She graduated from the Centralia College Veterinary Technician Program in 1984. She worked for one year at a small animal clinic in Toronto before she joined the team at Dundas Animal Hospital in 1985.
Pets: Val has a yellow labrador retriever named Legend.
Hobbies & Interests: Although she is kept very busy with her two children and their hobbies - hockey, dance and rowing, she still manages to find some time to take part in some of her varied interests such as gardening, knitting, reading and spending time with her husband Mike.

Lisa Colborne , V.T. , CCM
Lisa started at the Dundas Animal Hospital in 1987 as a high school co-op student, which lead to a part time job opportunity until she went to college. She continued to work part time doing kennel duties as well as reception work during her college years. Lisa graduated from Centralia, College in the Veterinary Technician Program in 1992 and wrote her registration exams right after graduation. Lisa started working full time with the Dundas Animal Hospital in May 1992.
Pets: She lives in Flamborough with her husband Dave and daughter Olivia. They have 2 dogs, Logan is a lab cross, and Nevada a jack russell cross.

Kim Hines , R.V.T.
Kim graduated from the Animal Care Program at Sheridan College in 1999. She then went on to the Veterinary Technician Program at Seneca College and graduated in 2003. Following graduation she immediately wrote her registration exam. Before and while attending college, Kim worked and volunteered at various veterinary clinics (including ours!) and gained 7 years of practical experience before she joined The Dundas Animal Hospital upon her graduation in May, 2003.
Memberships: Ontario Association of Veterinary Technicians (OAVT)
Pets: Kim has two cats Stanley & Hogan. She also has a rottweiler named Brooklyn that was adopted from the SPCA.
Hobbies & Interests: Kim enjoys spending time with her husband Ken and daughter Payton. She also enjoys walking her dog, camping, kayaking and rollerblading.

Jocelyn Tenhove, R.V.T
Jocelyn started at our hospital in May 2007 to help us out for the summer. She graduated from the veterinary technology program at Ridgetown college in 2008, and has joined our team full time. Jocelyn also has lots of experience from working at a near by dairy farm.
Memberships: Ontario Association of Veterinary Technicians (OAVT)
Pets: Jocelyn has a german short haired pointer named Fleet.
Hobbies & Interests: In her spare time Jocelyn enjoys reading, playing volleyball and training Fleet.

Mary Grace Harris , Tech Assistant
Mary Grace first joined our hospital as a volunteer in 1997. After graduating from high school, Mary took a course in livestock management and worked on a dairy farm for almost 6 years. She was hired on at our hospital in August 1999 and worked her way up to her present position as a Technician's Assistant.
Pets: A love bird named Papaya, a cockatiel named Ruffles, a budgie named Pete, two cats named Peek-a boo, and Tonka, two dogs - Castaway, a Border Collie / Terrier Cross and Esme a whippet. Mary also takes in all the orphaned animals that are brought to the hospital.
Hobbies & Interests: Castaway is on a flyball team called Instant Replay. Mary loves going camping, visiting the farm she used to work at and raising orphaned animals.

Debbie Garland
Debbie joined our hospital in September of 1990. She has over 20 years of reception experience. She is also responsible for the Accounts Receivable at our hospital.
Pets: Debbie has a black labrador retriever named Score. She also has a 17 year old cat named Max.
Hobbies & Interests: Debbie lives in Hamilton with her husband and 3 children (Tyler, Kylie & Mitchell) and enjoys spending time with them. The majority of her time is spent at her childrens different sporting events. When she does have some spare time she loves to read and spend time with her animals.

Justine Campbell
Justine joined the Dundas Animal Hospital in March 2000. Her previous experience includes 9 years at the Cancer clinic, 5 years at an optometry practice, 2 years at a chiropractic practice and 9 years as the manager of a thoroughbred horse farm. Justinne feels she has found her niche here at the Dundas Animal Hospital.
Pets: Justine has a German Shepherd named Sampras, and 2 cats Timmy and Miller.
Hobbies & Interests: Justine has ridden horses since she was seven years old. She has competed at International Level Dressage shows and has coached for many years. She also enjoys training, tracking and hiking with her dog.

Leigh-Anne Gill
Leigh-Anne joined our team in 2010 with many years of experience in the pet health industry. 
Pets: Leigh-Anne has one cat named Oswald.

Grooming

Melanie Crowther , I.P.G. Certified Groomer
Melanie joined our clinic in August 1996. She previously worked for the African Lion Safari and initially worked as a veterinary technician assistant at our hospital before pursuing pet grooming full time.
Melanie is certified at three levels through I.P.G.(International Professional Groomers) and has earned her "Master Groomer" status. She completd the International Professional Groomers Certification Program in 2001, from Elk Grove Village Illinois. She also completed the Animal Sciences program at Seneca College in 1982.
Memberships: Member in good standing of the Ontario Dog Groomers Association (O.D.G.A.), International Professional Groomers (I.P.G).
Pets: Melanie has 3 cats Licorice, Canter, Muffin and a labrador retriever named Cole.
Hobbies & Interests: In her spare time she enjoys scrapbooking, hiking and spending time with her grandchildren. Melanie also spends a lot of time each year at grooming seminars and competitions all over Canada and the United States.

Jennifer Smith
Jen joined our team of animal attendants in September of 2000. She graduated from St. Mary's High School in 2002, then completed the Social Service Worker program at Mohawk College in 2004. Over the years Jen has taken on more responsibility and now she is also helping Melanie full time in the grooming department.
Pets: Jen has a cat named Tequilla that was a stray from our hospital.
Hobbies & Interests: Jen loves camping, reading, swimming, rollerblading and hanging out with her friends.

Ashley Lamond
Ashley joined our team as a co-op student in September 2007 and is continuing to help us out part time. Ashley graduated from Westmount Secondary School. She is now studying life sciences at McMaster University, with plans of becoming a veterinarian.
Pets: A blue budgie named Freddie, and a westie named Bronwynn.
Hobbies & Interests: When Ashley is not working or in school she enjoys spending time with her dog, horseback riding, playing the french horn, watching movies and reading.

Lacey Atterton
Lacey has joined our team as a co-op student this fall and is working part-time as an animal care assistant. Lacey is currently attending Parkside Highschool. After completing highschool, Lacey hopes to go to college or university and become a veterinarian or veterinary technician.
Pets: 2 dogs: a miniature schnauzer and a german shepherd.
Hobbies & Interests: In her spare time Lacey enjoys singing and playing with her dogs.

Victoria Asselstine
Victoria is currently a student at Highland Secondary School. In the future she plans to attend the University of Guelph to become a veterinarian.
Pets: Victoria has a dog named Bella and three cats Cali, Foxy and Zoe that were all adopted from our hospital.
Hobbies & Interests: In her spare time she enjoys playing hockey and spending time with her family and friends.

Stella
Stella was originally in our adoption program in 2006 when the staff decided to keep her. She was just a few months old but she won over everyones hearts and was allowed to stay.
Hobbies & Interests
Stella has many things that keep her busy every day. One of her favourite things to do is play with her best friend Tonka and help socialize our adoption cats. She wanders around and checks on all the patients in the hospital and makes sure that after they go home their food does not go to waste! She also loves to help in the grooming department, and play in all the piles of hair.
Every day Stella makes us all smile with her quirky personality and crazy habits!
